removing water spots on 3m clear bra

their website suggests non-abrasive wax to remove water spots on the 3m clear bra. I've tried 2 different types of wax and it doesn't work.

I've even tried the meguiars hard water spot remover, as well as bug and tar remover and even vinegar and still no results.

any recommendations for what to use?

If those haven't worked, chances are the etching is too deep to remove. We just had a 2013 S4 in with 3 month old 3M Ultimate PPF on it that we couldn't remove the water marks from, even with considerable polishing.

wow that really sucks then. I got the 3m done about 4-5 months ago. water marks can be etched in that bad cause of the mineral deposit I assume?
