Does anyone have experience shipping through Point Roberts?

I am looking to ship a hood to somebody in virginia, and it's much cheaper to ship from Point roberts. Does anyone have experience shipping anything through Point Roberts? What is the process when bringing it across the boarder?

Also, any pointers on how to package/wrap the hood?

Appreciate any input!

it will be too big to ship through UPS/USPS/fedex. they will most likely send it through freight. get measurements and weight (already packaged) then call up places for a quote. do not go down there assuming it will be $200, fill out paperwork (must have receipt, sender's full details such as name, address and phone number) just to have the shipper quote $500...

Smaller things r ok. I shipped coilovers thru TSB last time. Came out to about 75$ with trackin # from PR to Pennsylvania I believe. Things like that shud be ok but in your case @op it may be a bit more difficult. Like the other guy said just send in the measurements n stuff to them and they'll let you know if its possible.

from PR to somewhere in USA? nope. I'd recommend an USPS account. You can print it online and just drop it at USPS post office. you do need to have an USA address, all dimensions/weight figured out but at least you don't have to wait at lines.
