Car stolen from showroom

Corvette stolen from showroom floor in Penticton | Globalnews.ca

Quote:
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP hoping the public can help find those responsible for stealing a 2011 Special Heritage Edition Grand Sport Corvette from a car dealership.

The incident happened at around 11:30pm Thursday at the Huber GMC dealership in Penticton. RCMP received a report of smashed glass and a car speeding away.

The vette was last seen in the Trout Creek Summerland area on highway 97.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP.

Surprised they would anyone start and or drive the car in the showroom, because it would smell like exhaust and be a potential health hazard or having something crazy like this happening

And smashing through glass and being in possession of a stolen car is better? Pretty sure they weren't letting the car sit idling in the showroom long enough to worry about monoxide poisoning...

11pm, not 11am...

Not only would they get in and out quickly enough to avoid any sort of issue with carbon monoxide, but modern cars emit very little of it. I'm sure they have plenty of other stuff to worry about other than CO poisoning..
