If you play with all stars and you can't score wtf.
Its like Crosby and Cunitz. Cunitz wouldn't be shit with Crosby.
Carter wouldn't be shit with team Canada.
Just saying.
That's why he was the missing piece for LA's run for the cup. Or on stand-by for 2010. Or has a goal every 3 games this year. Dang he's so overrated... [\sarcasm]
lol if that story's true then his sense of humour is right up Robongo's alley. I wonder who's not in the "inner circle" on the team. Hammer has his wife in Sochi so he's exempt. I figure Crosby and Kunitz are loners a la Crosby/Dupuis in 24/7. Same with Carey Price/Subban/Tavares. I wonder who people like Carter/Perry/Getzlaf/Doughty/Luongo would make fun of on the team.
Edit: totally misunderstood your post. I thought you meant Carter said he has too many pucks at home given his goal-scoring prowess. That story makes it all the better coming from Luongo.

Subban has a pretty good sense of humour too. If any one of those four guys make fun of PK, he'll give a funny one liner right back to them.
Knew Chan wouldn't pull it off, Canada's problem as in 2010 is that many of their "gold favorites" are all mentally weak and buckle under the pressure of expectations Posted via RS Mobile
Carter's play is inconsistent. How can you rely on a guy who only shows he when he wants the puck? Canada needs to be running on all cylinders, play better as a team, show improvement game by game.
We don't need guys who don't play at their peak every game in a round robin tournament.
If Dry Island Carter scores a hat trick against a hockey powerhouse like Sweden, U.S., or Russia, I'll eat my words.
I don't think he has what it takes to play every game at the level we've seen him play against weaksauce Austria.

And thats exactly my thoughts of Jeff Carter. Things were spiralling outta control for this guy when he took that tripping call. It would be the end of the line for him if he didnt step up after that ridiculous play.
I don't think anyone here doubts his skill and scoring sense. At least I didn't.
