Black Friday Deals

Yes, it's that important that it needs its own thread......... at least I didn't title it "Official" LOLOLOL. Don't want the justice league going after my nards, now do I.

Anyway, Canadian companies are fighting back with a vengeance this year. Cambodian Tire is having a Red Thursday Sale this week. Princess Auto is having daily deals all week.

Post up any info here, once you find out.

I'm looking forward to some great deals. Calling all frugal Asians.......... unite!

EDIT: the deals can be from both sides of the border...... on-line and in person. Let us know if you're planning on heading south this week. Perhaps we can form a Canadian Convoy -- safety in numbers, LOL.

All stores have already started their black friday deals in the states

but nothing seems appealing to me :/

MG1 11-25-2013 12:11 PM

I'll start.......... ROAM mobility is offering some sweet deals for Canadians heading south this weekend.

1.48 for one day talk and text plan
4.48 for 3 day plan

$1.98 for one day talk, text, data (300 mb)
$5.88 for 3 day talk, text, and data (900 mb)

Am I the only one who hates black friday, boxing day and any big sales types events? Can't stand the crowds, lines and crazy behavior just to save a few dollars. Personally I would rather pay more and shop in peace and not deal with crowds. At least these days some deals are online now so you can skip dealing with the crowds and ridiculous cheap people clamoring over sales.

+1. I do not like Black Friday shopping either. Black Friday sales in the United States can sometimes show the worst of humanity. -heard stories from friends about seeing guys fighting each other to get ahead in a lineup at Target.

-massive stampedes of crazy consumers who may trample someone in a heartbeat just to buy something at a sale price.

Justice league LOLololol.

Anyway online for sure, plus other retailers join in so it's really not that bad. I'm looking forward to the sales up here. Hardcore bargain hunters will head south I guess. I'm staying put.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but the iPod Touch, 16GB 4th generation, is $129 (regular $199) at Target in Canada...

i feel like i've been hearing about black friday for so long that i thought it was supposed to be over by now. seriously, thought american thanksgiving was last week

icemiko 11-25-2013 02:17 PM

Most of the stuff is on RFD already, nothing really worth buying locally or in the states.

Inb4 Invicta, Swiss Legend or some other over-inflated MSRP piece of shit watch. :suspicious:

GS8 11-25-2013 03:31 PM

Yeah I really hate Boxing Day. People line up the night of Christmas to buy more shit that they'll end up throwing in a closet a month later?

:fuckthatshit:

All Black Friday / Boxing Day sales are just lower retail mark up. I'm glad I'm not a materialistic douche.

Dragon-88 11-25-2013 03:42 PM

I need a new ratched set, if anyone can link me to some deals that would be sweet. My last set broke, so I dont want to buy a cheap set from Cad Tire, but if you guys have recommendations since I dont know whats really good out there. TIA

Ludepower 11-25-2013 03:44 PM

Clothes I find it worth it.
Whatever they cant sell they just mark the whole store down 50%.
Spot out whats remaining and try on..couple days before boxing day. Go early...and take it straight to the cash register.

FerrariEnzo 11-25-2013 03:57 PM

you got to wrestle your way in the parking lot, lining up to get in, picking up your items, during checkout, on the way out and out the parking lot..

iTz_Curt 11-25-2013 05:18 PM

Anyone know any good deals for a 50" LED HDTV? Looking for a 1080p, 60Hz-120Hz. I'm still using a SDTV in my basement so I'm looking to upgrade :)

b0unce. [?] 11-25-2013 05:20 PM

i'd rather be able to shop at home in my underwear.

knight604 11-25-2013 05:34 PM

^ you won't be able to see any lgs doe..

MG1 11-25-2013 06:15 PM

If all the planets line up, Superstore will have a no tax sale while TV's are on sale. Last year, the spend over 250 bucks freebie was a 25 dollar gift card - all at the same time. Now that would be awesimo........

Yeah Amazon has daily sales on right now. The .com site is better than the .ca site, by far. I get the e-mails because I have an account and have bought a whole bunch of stuff over the last couple of years - both .ca and .com. Once in a while the .ca site has some awesome deals. Like a brand new Milwaukee 12 volt Fuel ratchet kit for under US sale prices. I jumped at that one - free shipping, too.
