World map photo album
Is there a standalone offline program that is essentially a photo album in the form of a world map so you can visually organize photos by geographic location?
I found one online but would rather not upload thousands of photos.

Looking for something like this and hopefully free:
travel journal - photo album - flash animated world map

I use Adobe Lightroom and it definitely has that functionality.
