" It's supposed to be a really high rated kennel. He was gonna stay there for a bit. Dropped him off at 8 by 12 he was gone. No one knows how."

What is bc canine? A kennel? A dog walking service?

How the hell do they lose a dog?!?!

threezero 12-18-2013 05:49 PM

hope you find your dog.

I have use BC Canine before they were beyond great to me. I hope they make it right for you

MaaaadMan 12-18-2013 05:55 PM

I understand that the owner is angry but saying that they have no heart is too much...accidents happen that's life. i'll keep a lookout

SkinnyPupp 12-18-2013 05:57 PM

Kind of bad to slander the company, if it turns out to be an honest mistake. It sucks and I hope he finds his dog but come on. They are probably stressing out over it enough already (I hope)

E.D.C.5 12-18-2013 06:53 PM

Hope the owner will find it soon, I'll keep an eye out for it though.

How can you lose a dog and be an honest mistake...

This reminds me to keep dog food in my car again

also : kinda of important to know the dogs name ???

Ronin 12-18-2013 07:05 PM

...they...LOST the dog? How is that possible? You can't misplace a dog like your keys or phone.

westopher 12-18-2013 07:33 PM

Can you post a public facebook link? I'll repost it. If not, post the important info/tell your buddy to. Name, age, temperament, favourite foods, dog friendly, etc. Knowing all the details makes it A LOT easier for dog savvy people to know how to handle the situation.

DC5-S 12-18-2013 07:47 PM

Losing a dog isn't an honest mistake.. they deserve repercussions for this. I hope they find the dog, animals are like family members.

I think the dogs name is Sosa, but i dont know much more than that, i msged him asking for the above details, will update.

wonton1017 12-18-2013 07:55 PM

Hope the owner finds the dog. Did the place even offer some sort of reimbursement?
Even though I wouldn't even settle for $50k for a dog I bonded with already, would like to know what they offered.

I meant like a status update sort of thing/link that he may have posted details in not just his profile. :suspicious:
Either way once more details are up I'll pass them along.

PiuYi 12-18-2013 08:06 PM

why is it so hard to believe that a kennel can lose a dog? alot of dogs like to run away when they're taken from their owners (or left somewhere).... its stressful for them so they run

yes, the kennel may have made a mistake, or they had faulty fencing or a leash simply broke on them, but that doesn't make them "heartless"

when you misplace your key or phone its entirely your fault, keys and phone don't have legs or mind of their own.

No saying that the kennel isn't totally innocent but dogs can jump fence, sneak out, dig out. some can even open poorly lock gates. again not saying the kennel shouldn't take blame but comparing losing a dog to losing your keys is just

you're right, keys or phone cant jump over a 6 foot high fence and run away! and people still lose them every day. someone may have stolen the dog as he would be quite desirable too

edit: wizard above me

Zoidberg 12-18-2013 09:11 PM

^Care to share 1 sided story post please?

No it's actually way easier to lose a dog. If you forget to tie up your keys, they stay put. A dog can run away, hide, all sorts of things.
