Help find life timer of my computer

I have a HP laptop and I checked my life timer before and now I forget how. I also checked it on my wifes dell... this was a year ago and now I forget how. It was a program we downloaded I think... any takers?

I don't think there is life timer for a computer. The closest you can come is "power on hours" for the hard drive. It's stored in the SMART. I use HD Tune Pro to see the info, but there are many utilities that can do this. A free one is Seatools for DOS.

If it's the battery life that you mean you can try BatteryBar for more detailed information including wear, otherwise HWMonitor can also give the number of charge cycles iirc.
