All these former soviet leaders are mobsters, Putin the biggest one of them all. The people are tired of getting fucked, and want to cut ties from Russia as much as they can. This guy's house is a perfect example of why. A leader of a country shouldn't be living like that, even in the richest nations in the world let alone the poorest.

I do know what I am talking about, you just apparently can't read. The Ukrainians wan't to get away from the russian mafia, which is what caused this current protest. Yanukovych backed out of a deal that would have seen them have closer ties to the EU.
Also I doubt very much that all "russian people have nothing against Putin". Or even most...
The Putin vs The World thing is going to get bigger and bigger going forward. It will be 1st world and 2nd world countries against each other all over again. Only this time instead of NATO vs Commies, it'll be NATO vs gangsters and commies
to be fair, NATO is just as gangster as Russia.
Even looking at the origins of North America. it was land just taken away from the native indians. gangster.

So it sounds like there may be another issue boiling out of this turmoil with regard to Crimea, they don't like what's going on in the Ukraine and supposedly the majority of the Crimean people want to rejoin Russia, some are asking for Russia to send troops in (just on BBCnews)

I find it humorous that US keeps telling Russia not to intervene, but we all know they can't do diddly.
The west won't intervene, because that means they will be on the hook for all the money Russia "loaned" to Ukraine.. I can see Russia just want to get their money back like a bad loan shark.

3.Send in military arms for the local residents

I'ma go with door #4. USA isn't the powerhouse that they used to be... they talk a lot of shit but never back it up. And they're poor and know if they start a WW3 they would likely bankrupt the country completely in which case Russia would just walk in and take over the place.

This shit is kind of getting out of hand. If you look at what started WW1 and WW2, it's always some small thing and then superpowers start measuring dicks and all their allies jump in. Hopefully those Russian troops moving into Ukraine is just a show of force and not some type of preparation for something bigger.
