PSA - Guys who use Instagram, check your sharing preferences!!!
 

If you have an Instagram account, you may not know that whenever you "like" an Instagram or comment on one, it may be posted on your facebook newsfeed, but not your wall. This means you have NO IDEA that it has been posted to the newsfeed because it is NOT posted on your wall.

This is the third time i've seen this now and figured a PSA is warranted.

Real example from today...
- Old co-worker likes a bunch of instagram posts from this girl in a bikini, he also comments, "Wow, great body".
- His likes and comments show up on my newsfeed
- Guy is married with kids. Now his comment isn't bad, but it arguably looks bad for him. I pm'd him and he was pretty upset about it

Step 1
- Go into your instagram app on your phone
- Go to Settings > Preferences > Sharing Settings > Uncheck all

*only uses intagram to check out sloots crew checking in*

lol got a message from a girl friend a few weeks ago saying, "you know its on the newsfeed you're liking all these slutty looking girls, right?" lol

They weren't sluts, they were just viet from cali with huge bewbs.

can't you have IG linked to facebook without sharing activity?

i just stopped liking pics unless my friends or cars.. i have friend that just creep and like girl pics all day. i guess in hopes that they creep back and start talking and build a life together or some shit..

you don't have to like/comment on a photo when creepin bro

just have a steady thumb and don't ACCIDENTALLY like a photo from the past :lawl:

If it wasn't for the many random eye candy on Instagram I doubt if use it much

also people can see pics you are tagged in on facebook that you have hidden on your timeline

in the search bar type "photos of ***** *****"
