super serious quick question: cefradine mix.with coke
 

i have a swallen thoat & i cant swallow anything, i mixed some cefradine capsule with some.coke & just drank it

i drank everything without throw anything up, is there going to be any major problem (being serious here)

you mixed an antibiotic with coca cola and drank it thinking that it would somehow fix your sore throat? lol

all you did is make it so that the antibiotic you just took will probably be ineffective against whatever virus is in your throat. People like you are the biggest strain on modern medicine, good job!

FYI anytime you take an antibiotic and don't take the full dose all you do is make the bacteria/virus stronger by selecting for resistant strains.

edit: you won't die (from what you just drank anyways)

here the thing, i live china now & seriously i rather trust RS then a bunch of chinese doctors in telling me everything is gonna be alright & then start charging me for shit that i dont need (example: IV, all chinese doctors seem to do just to make a quick buck off u)

@dhilon09: as crazy as this may sound it might seem to be working ATM, but im sure your right (i could not swallow anything for the last day or so & that includes water) which is why i took a huge leap since powder inside the capsule is bitter as hell

another thing i just notice is that when i spit spit it seems to be a bit red when it comes out, could i have damge anything with my dry cough by any chance

vomiting with strep is more severe case though.

might need a stronger antibiotic than penicilin .

Coughing red is probably because you damaged your throat ..(like scraped it with some solid food particles) its probably normal..(i dont know) but I'd say just keep taking your prescribed antibiotics and drink ALOT OF water. And you can also try home remedies like honey water too. Stay away from dairy if you have throat infections etc.

thanks guys, the coke works but not effective enough as acid pretty much kills anti-bio as i was told this morning

i should pour the capsule powder in juice instead as it would be slightly better, yes i should water but its bitter as hell

& problem here in china is some stuff are very expensive & some stuff u cant trust as u duno if it will work or make u sick (in my case sicker)

im getting better now thanks for all the help (i think this anti-bio seems to work), i stay off of any dairy produce already & im just stick to plain water & juice, all i need to do now is shit & wee more

just put the powder in like alittle bit of tissue paper LOL and the swallow that. Its like 'creating' a capsule yourself.
