I can't believe how good that Z/28 looks. I really dislike the new gen Camaro in general but this one is blowing my mind. Loving the subtle fender flares with the front and rear lip spoilers. I think that sets this one apart from all the others including the ZL1 in terms of appearance. Love all the performance stuff, the rawness and that 6 speed manual gearbox. Interior is hurting but that's par for the course so no points deducted. I'm not even a big V8 muscle car kind of guy at all either. Would I spend $75k on it? Maybe. If I combined the performance figures with the exclusivity and possible future collector car I may convince myself.

While I can appreciate the bang for buck and overall performance of the GTR(because it's fucking crazy how good it is) it doesn't do a thing for me at all and I can't see myself ever buying one. On the other side, I'm a big Porsche fanboy and whenever I consider making a completely irresponsible purchase it almost always involves a Porsche. Having said that though, the Z/28 is really doing it for me right now and I'm super stoked like a little kid wanting a sling shot or bb gun.

I still like the overall GTR package better... surprising ending though. That thing must be a beast through the corners.

As awesome of a setup as the Z28 may be, I just couldn't justify spending $75k on a car that ugly.

Let someone else spend $75k and pick one up two years later for $30k

Somehow I think that the vehicle's exclusivity will prevent the normal heavy depreciation that is commonly associated with these type of cars.

The only American car that has not heavily depreciated, but actually gained value in this century, was the Ford GT. I highly doubt the Z28 is in the same league of exclusivity.

Boss Laguna Seca have held up pretty well and it doesn't even come close to the Z/28 in my books.
Plymouth Prowler is another one from recent years that hold their value inexplicably well.
If you can find a Solstice GXP Coupe they won't be cheap
Viper ACR probably won't drop much and might go up in a few years, I have a a feeling the new car might even be helping it a little.

Not saying the car won't depreciate but white rocket is saying it won't get hit with the normal depreciation most cars today face.

^^bingo. Although it will depreciate, I just don't see it worth $30K in a couple years based on production numbers alone.
