Document accessible to those you grant access

So I have a company policy I want online for my clients to only have access to.

I don't want them to have to download software like drop box to gain access to it. But I need it to be private, something like where they have to use a special log in to access it.

Are there any sites members here can suggest that do this?

google docs, though they have to sign in with their google account credentials.

or setup a FTP and give them a username/password

probably other solutions, but that's what I would do.

Google Docs has a document setting that allows anyone with the link to access a document. You can set whether they can edit or not.

What I ended up going is just password protecting the PDF using a free website and upload it to my site.
