I picked up a Tipton Best Gun Vise at No Sale Sports for $99 the other day - that's $75 off. I cleaned 6 rifles and a pistol with it yesterday, it works great. Worth $100.

I have one of those. It's a great gun vice. Totally modular, so you can use it with a pistol, rifle, Kriss Vector, it doesn't matter because all guns fit.

Got my regi from Miramichi on friday for the Ruger. Work (and the kids on spring break) are pissing me off today, so it looks like I'll be heading out to the range a little later. Can't wait to plink with my new Ruger and optic.

We should arrange a 'site visit' at the Squamish range soon.

BTW - I am thinking I am ready to look at buying my own quad but really have no clue what to look for model wise. I need it for hunting - box on the back, 4x4, won't be going fast or jumping it, being able to take a passenger is a must.

Well I got to take the K31 out Saturday and holy crap was it fun, I'm still not a very good shot but I can work on that. There were a few other people out there when we arrived, they were a bit confused trying to sort out what the heck it was

I think so yeah, if I start doing things to it I'll want to stick to period correct stuff, which I know will get pricey. Maybe if I pick up a second one I'll keep one original and modify the other.

The Swiss Products scope mount has only one bolt clamp, it can remove a scope in seconds.

This might be a stupid question but does it need to be resighted every time it's reinstalled? Either way I've already surpassed my supposed limit for initial gun purchases so any upgrades or new guns will have to wait (although the prices I'm coming across for some rather pretty milsurps are really testing me).

if passenger is a must i'd probabably look at 700cc +

also the electronic power steering is a gods send in tight bush or hairy terrain, last time in the kootneys my uncle had an older suzuki quad while i was on a borrowed Yamaha Grizzly, the EPS makes going over logs etc. a dream while my uncle, who is a big guy still had some trouble manuevering and man handlding his machine over bigger stuff.

for the binoc's, they werent mine personally but a guy we used to go hunting with dropped about $650 on a vortex pair, was kind of skeptical on spending 700 on a pair of binoculars, but WOW were they impressive..

Wholesale Sports has the Swiss 7.5x55 60rnd packs on clearance right now, BOGO 50% off. I'm gonna find out after work if that extends to the 480rnd crates as well (fingers crossed but I'm not expecting much).

For the 60's that brings it down to $0.6875 before tax or $0.77 after (per round).

Last time I was in WSS they told me they no longer sell the GP11 by the case, only the bundles.

I used to mock the EPS, but Hondaracer is right. It really comes in handy when you're in tight, especially after a couple of hours into your ride. Hitting up the outdoor show a few weeks ago, I was amazed at the options out there for modern ATV's.

I'm a fan of Polaris. The only difference is that I went with a RZR over a quad, mainly because of the passenger comfort.

Expect to spend a fortune though.
The Polaris 2up 850cc with EPS is over $13,000.

Sick machine, but that's a down payment on a Kia right there.

Also, insurance and registration are now mandatory in BC. I paid about $160 last year for my RZR.

It must vary by store, they have a big stack of them and a sign saying you effectively get one bundle free when buying a case (vs buying 8 bundles) out here.

my buddy bought last years "limited" edition Polaris sportsman 850

i was riding another friends CRF250R half way up a 20km logging road, lots of shale etc. and needless to the dirt bike wasnt the most comfortable ride

buddy with the sportsman traded off on me half way up and WOW.. what a machine..

from the bumpy/unstable dirt bike, to this sportsman 850, no joke the sportsman felt like the tires were fucking pillows.

Was cruising along at around 65km/hour like it was nothing, hitting pot holes, rocks, the shale etc. i was blown away how comfortable and easy a ride it was.

Like Hypa said, 13k is a car, but for the best of the best in any off-road vehicle, sleds, sea-doo's, ATV,s, hell even dirt bikes, your looking at 10k+

keep it for 10+ years, $1000 a year, not a bad investment imo

I popped back into Tiger Arms the other day and took a few pics of those Korth .357s. The black and blue model are each $9,900 and the gold one is $10,100. I love the blue model - just not the price.
