Cool post! The Miata's price is rising higher and higher. I hope the pricing won't be rediculous on this model.

There were rumors of the 25th anniversary model to have a blueprinted engine, would be pretty sick if it were true.

It's sorta blueprinted - Mazda says their engineers picked the best parts out for these engines but they couldn't do a real blueprint of it.

The colour looks great but considering you can get $4-5K off a regular Miata right now I have a tough time imagining that they'll sell 100 of them in Canada (since they are made to order). Very nice leather too.

Girl's car? I have not yet seen many women drive a Miata, maybe a Beetle or Mini convertible

Whooooo.... hand painted interior trim.

What they really should have done for the anniversary edition, especially since it's a limited run model, is make a lightweight, stripped down model. Bring it back to the original base model type stuff - manual windows, rag top, no radio or any other sort of frills. Make it track oriented with stiffer anti-roll bars, nicer suspension, stickier tires, etc. No, they probably wont sell a lot but, again, for a limited run model, why not?
