installating windows 7

So I'm trying to install windows 7 on my back up computer but when it's close to completing I get an error saying "Windows could not prepare to boot into the next phase of installation. To install windows, restart the installation." I have restarted the computer a couple of times already. I still get the same message. Any help would be appreciated.

P.s. This is a clean install. The hard drive has no operating system.

Delete every single partition on your installation hard drive. Your hard drive should show up as unallocated space during setup.

Also, remove all external USB drives leaving only your mouse or keyboard plugged in.
