Hey man, maybe you should look up the Canadian livestock laws. A lot of Canadians are fooled by everything they hear/are told by american media.
You ever wonder why milk/meat/poultry in Canada is so expensive? Each farmer is allowed a set amount of animals, and from those animals only a set amount of milk/eggs/meat/whatever can be produced, so there's no monetary gain to be made from overproducing or from injecting a ton of hormones like they do in America.
Chicken/meat raised with hormones has been illegal in Canada since the 1960s. The only allowed hormones are naturally occurring growth hormones and its strictly regulated by health Canada, and that occurs in all meat you buy in Canada -- not just McDonalds. As for the antibiotics, same deal -- all regulated and is done to all meat in Canada unless you're buying organic -- in which case, more power to you. Even with antibiotic use, they allow sufficient time for the animals to pass the antibiotics before slaughter, so you the consumer are getting little/no antibiotics from the meat.
tl;dr - McDonalds in Canada, which is where we live, uses the same quality of meat you would find in your grocery store unless you buy organic
Fuck, since when did it come cool to shit on every thread with a mention of McDonalds? I get it, you follow some hipster crossfit chick on instagram who only eats vegan grass fed meat that was allowed to die of sadness and not slaughter .. great ... stop shitting on mcdonalds threads with your useless 'facts'. The reason most people feel shitty after eating McDonalds is because most of us have no self control and when a burger is $2, gorging ensues, then you wonder why you feel shitty |
