Blake Wheeler is spot on what it means to be a professional athlete in the NHL.  Videos - Sportsnet.ca
Kane is a high risk, high reward player. -amazingly talented player, who needs to grow up and understand what it means to be a professional athlete.
Evander needs to stop acting like he's the top jock at his high school, John Oliver, who can dress in track suits and do whatever he wants. He's not above the team.
If a coach can get inside this guy's head and make him realize that he's fortunate to play a sport and make tonnes of money doing it, Kane can gain the respect of his team mates and be a better player.
C'mon, Evander, eat your humble pie, and apologize to your team mates and coach. Do the right thing. Learn to be a pro athlete instead of being a brat with a sense of entitlement.

if Kane can't focus on hockey in WINNIPEG, he's not gonna be able to do it in his hometown, wouldn't touch the guy with a 10 foot pole
cap won't go up much with the CAD so low and we're pretty much stuck in a 7-10th place spot with no chance of making it through the first round if we get there
at this point we're better off trading for prospects, but keep the core (the sedins, hamhuis, bieksa, miller and burr), and hope they groom the next generation well so we don't fuck it up like EDM
