50cc motorcycle legal to drive with Class 5 license?

I know scooters are legal but what about motorcycles?
2 stroke 50cc motorcycles can reach 100+km/h...also they have clutch, shifter, etc..

Honda NSR50

Yamaha TMZ50

Suzuki GSX-R50

They are legal to drive.. the question is do you need to insure it. As long as the bikes have working pedals then you don't need to insure it (if you remove them, then you need insurance). Does the bikes in your pictures have working pedals? No, then you need ICBC insurance. I would love to see you will pedal one of those.

Yes you would need a motorcycle license.

"A limited-speed motorcycle:

-Has no more than a 50 cubic cm engine displacement or 1.5 kilowatt motor rating
-Does not need clutching or shifting after the drive system is engaged
-Has a maximum speed on level ground of 70 km/h and weighs no more than 95 kilograms, excluding fuel and batteries
-Must have wheels that are 25.4 cm in diameter or more "

Mopeds and scooters
