Happy 147th birthday, CANADA!!

It's also Anti-Spam Day, so I am going to fry up some Spam for lunch and make me some spam sushi Hawaiian style (Spam Musubi).

I elected to work today, 7-330 instead of 8-430, and I get Friday off instead

silly me forgot to plug in my phone last night so it died on me. I freaked when I woke cause I thought I was late and didn't know what time it was, turned on laptop and saw it was 620 *pheuf

Going to go to the Cloverdale Celebration tonight, my son will enjoy Kyprios and my wife Mathew Good. The weather is great, can't complain.

We are so fortunate to live in such a magnificent country. It's not perfect, but man, I would not live anywhere else. So we pay a lot of taxes and everything costs so much more. Would you want to raise your kids anywhere else? Thanks, grandpa, for having the guts to travel across the ocean to this great place and making this our home.

I hope the new immigrants truly call this their home and help make this country even more magnificent. Travel this vast country to see what it's really all about. Try to understand what it is to be Canadian.

I am so proud to be a Canadian all 365-1/4 days.

How well do you know Canada?

Take the quiz: How well do you know Canadiana? | Globalnews.ca

It's a lame quiz.......... mostly about celebrities. Would have been better if it was about Canadian milestones, inventions, contributions, and history.

"Our Canada, Our Home" on Shaw TV (channel 4) right now......... pretty funny and informative.
