Archery Tag coming to Vancouver Anyone interested in this? I think it looks pretty fun. A good alternative to paintball, and a sweet skill to practice. I'm sure people would consider it wussy but I think it would be fun to try. http://6packbeach.com/wp-content/upl...145332_HDR.jpg http://6packbeach.com/wp-content/upl...145230_HDR.jpg |

I could see whiny people playing if they get hit in the head or something. |
Head and Bow shots do not count btw. Looks interesting enough to give it a shot. |
RS MEET? |
Looks like fun, but I just hope it's not like other "niche fun" things to do in Vancouver where the price starts low but goes up and up and up. TBC Indoor Karting comes to mind... |
Looks like it could be a lot of fun, I'd imagine it's a lot harder than paintball or laser tag though. |
Looks super damn fun. |
Any RS meet would turn into an orgy of ball-shots and crying, fast |

I definitely want to try this, any news? Where and when they opening? |
Glad I'm not the only one and people are interested. I would totally be down to try. Seeing as the arrows would travel slower and not as far as paintballs potentially, it would be a fun skill to practice running and firing an arrow, and shooting moving targets. I don't have any info other than the site posted, but I read somewhere it will open end of summer/ fall I think. |

Who is going to test the ball-shot pain level? |
i'm going to secretly bring in lighter fluid & soak that end part :troll: |
I've taken my kid to birthday parties there before the Archery, lots and lots of sand kids running around missing the soccer ball kicking sand into each others eyes. Cool idea though, be fun to try at least once. |
|
In the photos it's in sand, but the video shows just some kind of astro turf. Sand would be sweet for diving behind cover, and you're wearing a mask...but the sand would get everywhere else. |
