TRU/TRU-OL

Anyone at TRU or taking courses through TRU-OL?
Has anyone graduated from a TRU-OL program?

I've transferred to TRU-OL's BA psych program for 3rd and 4th year, taking all of my classes through distance, so I can keep my day job and afford to finish my degree. So far I'm really impressed. It's so easy to speak with my instructors to get feedback, my assignments are marked within 48 hours, and exams are marked within a week. Even the administrative processes are easier. I have to take some courses through other universities, because TRU-OL doesn't offer all of the psych courses I need, but I got a letter of permission sent to UBC in a day. A DAY!

I know it's a smaller school than I'm used to and maybe it doesn't hold as much "prestige" as UBC, but I feel like I'm getting a pretty high quality education through my courses and not having to deal with administrative rigamarole is a breath of fresh air.

Went to TRU in my first year and was sort of unimpressed, but apparently they're pretty well spoken of when it comes to online learning, and I know a number of people who have done a course or two with them. I'll probably do the same next summer while working.
