MISSING French Bulldog in Richmond

Posting this for a friend.
Her French Bulldog went missing yesterday around 1pm on Saunders road between No3 and Garden City. The dog responds to its name "Rufus" and is tan in color with a muscular build. He is a smaller than usual French Bulldog and is always seen with his tongue sticking out.
He has a birth defect and requires daily medical attention.

If recovered please contact 778 989 9785.

Same dog missing a few months ago?

I cant understand how little people bother to say when their dogs are missing. Does the dog like humans to approach or is he fearful of people? Is he dog friendly or nervous of other dogs? Is he wearing a collar? Should we approach and attempt to catch or will he run? Does he have a certain treat/food that he is driven by? Is the dog microchipped? Details help people find things, and not lose them right away.

I honestly have no idea. I'm just spreading awareness around the community. I'll ask the owner and let her know to post more information

Rufus is not a shy dog, he enjoys being around people and other dogs. He is very approachable and enjoys chicken treats. He was last seen with no collar on as well but he is easily recognizable by his tongue since it is always sticking out

Outstanding! So glad to hear that, especially with a breed that some nefarious people are after. I'm going to go and tell my dogs they are awesome and give them a treat now.

how do they keep losing rufus

i'm going to have to agree with this. shame on the owners.

bballguy 08-06-2014 12:19 PM

Some people are just stupid...dog's collar should almost never be taken off...and you have to be absolutely stupid to lose your dog twice...

Should leave the collar on their dog along with some sort of GPS tracking device that can be used with a smart phone

westopher 08-06-2014 04:54 PM
