8thgen Accord coupe looks so much better than the civic si + there's so much space all around compared to a cramped civic. If you want a car till you're out of your teenage days then Civic Si, if you want a car till it's in the ground Accord coupe.

2nd gen IS did come in manual. Quite the unicorn!

I had a 6MT TSX hand-me-down from my brother. I prefer the feel of the 8gen Si and he also likes the CSX-S which is the same thing.

I'd totally go with the 8gen Si!

it's Darwinism. I had a muscle car in high school, then a couple more after that. didn't crash them (that's not entirely true, didn't have any at fault accidents, i can't stop a CLai driving into me) - it will weed out the crowd.

i couldn't fathom having $15K to blow on a first car, but without doubt my money would be on a 06 to 08 Si, such fun cars to drive.

the comparison to the accord is redundant, totally different cars. you don't cross shop a civic Si with an accord coupe

I briefly owned an accord coupe (7th gen), you get bored of it real quick. You get bored of any automatic real quick.
