Roammobility lte question

Have anyone used roammobility and their lte service? I've been with them for a while now and have their SIM card from a year ago and have recently "upgraded" to their lte service. But I can't get the lte to work. I've called them before and on their site it said I don't need to upgrade the SIM card. Just need to pay upgrade fee. I have a iPhone 5 and a 5s which on their website shows to support lte but I can't turn on lte only 3G. Anyone have more info on this?

Hmm.. I upgrade my sim card for LTE. It worked fine when I was in the states last month. I'm using a Galaxy S5 from Rogers.

Maybe it is the area I'm in. Right now I'm in Anaheim and only 3G. Where were you when you have lte?

Depends on where you are.

Not every location you go to will have LTE service

It basically depends on location, phone bands, and paying the upgrade fee.

Assuming you have a suitable phone (check the LTE bands) and paid the upgrade fee, it's likely a service issue in the area you're in.

Can I still use my old SIM? I've got an older unactivated 4G SIM that I'm gonna use on my Nexus 5. I'll be travelling to Austin for work and it's a way better deal to expense a RoamMobility package than a Rogers travel one.

That is what I thought. But my wife have an iPhone 5s doesn't show lte setting. Only 3G when I put the roam sim in. On the roam site it said iPhone 5s and certain model iPhone 5 should have lte. It is strange the old sim would support lte where as Rogers would require you to upgrade sim when they have upgraded networks.

You can always make an account and activate the sim, then pay for the plan when you go on the trip.
