English teachers Shelley Dufresne and Rachel Respess are accused of sleeping with the 17-year-old boy earlier this month after taking him to Respess' apartment following a football game.
The two women, teachers at Destrehan High School in Louisiana, now face charges including carnal knowledge of a juvenile, contributing to delinquency of a juvenile and indecent behaviour with a juvenile, news channel WGNO reports.
The student, said to have been 16 when the alleged relationships began, had reportedly met the women multiple times "documenting some of their encounters on video".
Destrehan High School: The two women taught English at the school
Married mum-of-three Dufresne also faces charges from authorities who believe her relationship with the boy continued elsewhere.
Police Chief Michael Glaser: "You have an educator, I guess, the responsibility is the safety and education of the children and when it goes outside those lines I believe the community should be outraged."
He added: "I do believe it's lack of a better judgemet. They should have known better."
It comes after a series of sex scandals in recent months involving students and teachers in America.

they didn't charge them with rape/sexual assault/creation ofchild porn like they would a male teacher  no shit he would be bragging about it, surprised it didn't say he uploaded the videos to youporn or something

There is a huge risk for a conflict of interest when it comes to relationships with a person of authority. This is why even in college, students can't sleep with their professor.
The student in this case is young and not fully mature. It would be much easier to coerce sex out of him (i.e. if you don't have sex with me, I will fail you), or even force him to pay child support if a pregnancy is involved.

Kid must have the magic stick if he can get two at the same time. I see what is 'wrong' with this, but at the same time, they all knew what they were doing. EVERY 16 year old guy would bang hot blonde women if given the opportunity. My guess is this guy is something these women probably wanted when they were teenage girls themselves.
