For sale is my automatic 2002 Acura RSX premium:
Status: Rebuilt (I bought it like this - Unsure of what the damages incurred were)
Mileage: 178, XXX Km
This thing could probably make a decent winter car for someone. Selling because I don't really need this (or my evo lol) as I take transit to work every day. EVO will be going on storage insurance but I don't have the room to store two cars.
The Good:
This car is an ideal A-B car with a lot of trunk space thanks to the hatchback design and it is relatively fuel efficient.
Trim Level: Premium
Includes sun roof, power windows, cruise control, leather interior
Aftermarket sony cd deck with USB connection & Bluetooth
Overall mechanically it runs well.
The Bad:
Lowered on coilover sleeves (Purchased by the previous owner, the ride is pretty stiff as a result). For anyone who has driven on coilover sleeves before I'm sure you know what it's like. I drove it like this for the entire duration I've owned it and didn't really mind. Alternatively there is a set of type-s suspension on craigslist listed at $130 right now..
- Rebuilt status (As mentioned above I bought the car like this)
- Cosmetically the car has some minor scratches
- The key fob has stopped working so you have to unlock the car with the key / Door lock actuator on the passenger side doesn't work via the power locks button ($120 or so new from Acura)
- Fog light bulbs need to be replaced
- Trunk has a couple holes from where a spoiler was previously mounted (covered with vinyl)
- Rear bumper is sagging on the passenger side due to a clip/tab being broken, I'm sure it could be a simple repair but I've never bothered with it. (Shown in last two pictures)
The car is currently uninsured, but can be insured for a test drive etc so long as notice is given.
The bumper sag as mentioned above;
Looking to get $3,500 OBO. I've tried to take into consideration what is wrong with it in comparison to the other relatively prices on CL/KJ, etc.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns,
Thanks,
