Having wheels chromed, any local places??

Any places around to have wheels chromed (Chrome dipped)? Is Chrome powder coating an option, or possible for that matter? Any info is great. Thanks. I know that places in the states do it, but seems a little unnecessary to have them sent out there and also seems like a big cost also.

To my knowledge, real chrome plating is illegal in North America now. Lots of alternatives though, I just don't know any.

To my knowledge there are no local chroming places. Most of the local refinishers have told me that the US is the only place to get real chroming done. My lowrider buddies always talk about Dependable Plating but I have not dealt with them so I can not comment.

Dynopro is good. They have coated tons of stuff for me over the years.

Last I checked, no one local does chroming. Every shop I spoke to said it would have to be sent down to California.
