BMW E46 E39 Key Fob Battery VL2020

Anyone know where I can source this locally?

Tried a few store like Battery World, interstate battery.

Please advise any local battery store that sell this other than ebay

Many Thanks!

Good luck putting the fob back together mayne, it's recommended to switch the key completely since it can be difficult to seal back together afterwards

I've been told by brian jessel that the battery is welded into the key fob. The whole key fob will need to be replaced. $195 + tax

There's a way to replace it. I did it on my E38's key fob.

the battery charges when you use the key. its supposed to last indefinitely... but it doesnt. i changed it myself, it is soldered on but you can connect it pretty easily. just order a battery online.
