Can We Auto-Correct Humanity?

Strong video about the amount of technology that we use each day. Worth the 3.5mins.

Downside is, it'll just keep getting worse.

Just look at China and their "cell-phone lanes" on sidewalks.

Haven't even begun to scratch the surface on the dark side of technology

One of my next books focuses on this, City of Singles was written before Tinder really took off, and I've never used it.

Fuck the world is so full of technologically-enabled retards and dark triad psychopaths

I can name at least 10 people way too sucked into their devices. Pisses me off cuz we'll be out having dinner and they are busy doing snapchats

on a positive side I think it's just a trend and smart people will eventually see what they are missing out on

I personally see it as a pretty huge problem, which is why my GF and I do "phone-less" dates... we usually split the bill but if someone has to use their phone for a non-family reason they are paying for it.

Too often I see couples (or groups) out at restaurants, pool places, bbt, sporting events, just staring like their phones like a bunch of zombies and rarely interacting with the physical people around them. At that point, why even go out?

My biggest pet peeve is watching Canucks games (either live or on TV) and literally half of the people in the lower bowl are suits on their phones not enjoying the game. I'm sure there are plenty of families with kids who love hockey that would be dying to go instead of your drone ass.

I thought I was listening to rap.

This guy got some talent. His beat and how he rhymed was not bad at all.

Play the cell phone game. Everyone puts their phone in the center of the table. Whoever touches their phone first pays for the entire dinner. That'll teach them to get off their phone. I hate it when people are on their cell phone during outings as well.

There's no way to make this not sound cocky but I can't be the only guy in Vancouver that doesn't have this problem that when I'm out with people, they'd rather be on the phone than hangin' out with me.

Probably the worst it will get is they'll check/send a quick message, or they'll take an pic of me/us/we and post in facebook. Whatever the case, it only takes a minute or so and definitely not something to get bent out of shape for.

the new standard of human will be more and more connected. the old and unwilling to adapt will be left behind. "back in the good ol days we actually talked to each other"... ok that's great, go back to the old days. lol.

cybernetics and all that crap. we basically are primitive cyborgs. just our cybernetic attachments aren't permanently attached.

people change.

definition of humanity will change.
