Im gonna rewatch the series this weekend so I can go watch the new one.

doing it machete order

Machete Order. There is one other option, suitable for old and new viewers alike, known as Machete Order. Popularized by blogger Rod Hilton, Machete Order involves watching the original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back first, then watching the prequels before finishing it all off with Return of the Jedi (so that’s 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6). This introduces you to the universe through the original trilogy, but cuts it off after the cliffhanger in Empire Strikes Back—at which point you “flash back” to the prequels to see how Darth Vader came to be Darth Vader, before returning to the final chapter of the original trilogy for a nice, neat ending.

You've probably all seen this on your various social networking channels and stuff, but I figure I'd still throw this in here:

Such a wonderful performance. (Sadly, Luke is MIA )

My friend at ILM Vancouver managed to get an extra invite into to their company screening tomorrow!

I get to see it in the morning with some of the people that worked on it!

I can't wait!

Just caught it in hk. Great homage to the original series. Probably top 3 in the series already in my books.

Loved it. A few scenes got me right in the feels.

Hard part for me, is now replacing the last 20 years of the EU. I read almost all the novels, so its a lot of history to forget.

Been watching the de-specialized version of the original trilogy, after completing the de-cheesed prequel trilogy. So excited for my showing tomorrow evening!

Just finished watching it in Pitt Meadows... they were the only theatre that still had AVX seats for tonight when I bought my tickets.

Such a great movie IMO, brought back so many feels and memories of watching the original 3 movies with my dad when I was a little kid. If this is any indication of the rest of the trilogy, it's going to be a fun ride, already miles ahead of episodes I-III.

There were many many phenomenal moments in the movie, but there were also some very weak points, they were outnumbered by the awesome moments though.

The movie felt very rushed to be honest, especially the second half, and more so near the ending... They really wanted to cram a lot into it, it felt like the movie could be split into two or three on its own just to flesh everything out.

Overall the movie felt like a copy of 'A New Hope' but that's not a bad thing

8/10

Visiting my sister in Langley had no problem getting a ticket for the 10:40 showing. The theater was not full. The movie was awesome. Just what the franchise needed.
