2007 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B

2007 Subaru 2.5 GT Spec. B

Actual Pictures added (Taken Dec 14, 2014)

$12000 OBO
-192,000KM
-Dark Grey
-No major accidents (2 minor slow speed rear bumper accidents, one for $800, one for $1000)
-Canadian vehicle
-Nonsmoker
-Selling because bought a new vehicle

Maintenance (in the past two years) – I have all receipts:
• New Battery
• Timing Belt, thermostat, pulleys, tensioners, water pump
• 4 New tires
• New spark plugs
• Rear Brake pads and Rotors
• PCV Valve and O2 sensor replacement
• Front Wheel bearings and axles
• Front Brake pads and Rotors
• Front and Rear sway bars, endlinks, bearings, and bushings
• Lots of oil and fluid (differential, transmission) changes

Basically, this is a well maintained vehicle with all major maintenance has been done. Most other Legacy’s will require the above maintenance in the next two years; this has been already been completed. Mechanically this car is solid, but there are some rock chips on the paint. If you are looking at other Legacy GT/Spec B, make sure that most of the items above have been addressed, or you will be doing it shortly after your purchase.

I can also meet in South Burnaby during weekdays as I work near the Market Crossing area.

This was Subaru’s most expensive vehicle in 2007, and the top of the line Legacy.

The major differences between the Spec. B and the GT are:
-Silver stitched black leather with perforated sti blue alcantara (vs GT leather or cloth)

-Six-speed manual transmission (vs 5 speed for GT, it is the same gearbox as WRX STi)
-18-inch Spec. B factory wheels on multi-spoke alloy wheels (vs 17” for GT)
-Bilstein suspension
-Torsen R180 rear differential from the STI
-Adjustable throttle map controlled by Subaru's SI-Drive controller on the centre console
-Touch-screen navigation system sits at the top of the dash (not available for manual GT)
-Power moonroof
-Factory three-spoke leather Momo steering wheel with audio and cruise controls
-Factory momo shift knob
-The stereo has a six-disc CD changer with auxilary
-Powered eight-way on the driver's side and four-way on the passenger
-Heated front driver and passenger seats
-Dual digital climate control
-Power Windows
-Heated mirrors and windshield wipers
-Power locks with keyless entry and anti-theft alarm system
-Power brakes, Power steering, ABS
-Traction Control and Vehicle Dynamic Stability (VDS - not offered on regular GT models)

BUMP.

Clutch is strong, no slip at all. Pretty sure previous owner replaced it, although I have no records.

I've driven a manual transmission vehicle for the last 18 years.

Pictures Added.

Car is 100% Stock, never been modified. Having said that, Spec. B is a considered the best Legacy trim for modification as it has the strongest Subaru transmission (6 speed, same as STI).

Great for the winter! Also, rear seats fold down 60/40 unlike the same generation WRX STI!

Great value compared to similar generation WRX/ WRX STI! Interior is much nicer as well!

Now accepting select trades. Looking to trade up to a vehicle between $30K-$40K.
Must be manual transmission, if German, must have 3 years warranty remaining. Prefer RWD or AWD. No 2 seaters. 4 door coupe ok.
Potential Candidates: STI, 135i, G37, A4 etc.

Answers to questions asked by buyers:

1. Is this out of Province? Yes, car was imported by last owner from Nova Scotia 3 years ago. It's been in BC since 2011.

2. Is there any rust? None on the body. There is some surface rust on the muffler from the last inspection in 2011. It hasn't developed any further, so I've ignored it.

Car is also missing spare tire.
