I'll try to keep this concise...but I need your support!
I'm an actor in Vancouver, and I'm hoping to keep doing what I love. Recently I was in a contest entry amateur-made ad for the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl 2015" competition, a world-wide competition. And out of almost 5000 entries, we made top 25, and now we're officially in the top 10!
We actually have a good shot at winning the Grand Prize: seeing the ad during the Super Bowl, the producer gets a job at Universal...and we win $1 million!
Here's our spot, which beat out almost 5,000 entries! "When Pigs Fly" I'm the actor who plays the farmer! At the time of this posting, it has over 67,000 views!
And click "Vote" under our video, "When Pigs Fly"!
You can vote once a day, per device, until voting closes on Jan 28th. No sign up or emailing lists, just click the site, and click "vote"... Takes 5 seconds!
So out of the 10 finalists, 2 were Canadian, and both are from Vancouver. The other entry is called "Selfish Sneezers". Which is still great! But there can be only one winner, so we need to beat it, and need votes for "When Pigs Fly".
If we win, I'd love to show my gratitude to Revscene somehow with my cut of the winnings...not sure how yet but I promise to figure something out!
To show you it's legit, and to show that it's kind of a big deal, here are some news clips:
The top 2 ads will be played during the Super Bowl, and the runner-up will play first, and that's how we'll know who won.
Fun fact: Graham, the creator, got a call from Elizabeth Banks to say he was in the Top 10, since the job at Universal will be on her next project!

I saw the twins who created this on the news this morning.. liked them way more than the other guy who made the commercial with friends sneezing in their doritos bags so they didn't have to share. He was in a loud shirt and just kinda seemed like a d-bag on air.

Voted, but with the way CTV has been handling (read: butchering) the Super Bowl for the last 5 years, I doubt we'll even see your commercial without going to a bar for the American coverage, or if FritoLay Canada even bought time to slot in between the same commercials you see the rest of the year, and the countless trailers for crime drama's #44986 and #999778382.

^Well, I have my driver's license, and I don't smell like shit...
...today.
Edit: Stylin, I had that issue too sometimes, for some reason. Sometimes I think it could be the traffic on the site, but you could (and should!) also vote on your phone or tablet. Or try a different browser on your computer; Chrome is weird for me sometimes, but Firefox is ok.
And yes, there are some great entries! But apparently a non-US has never won, so let's make this happen!

I watched all of them, and yours is legit the best one. Some of them were pretty bad, dunno how they got to the final 10. The production, music, acting, AND THE PIG were all top-notch for your ad. You have my vote! Goodluck and great work!

Of course I would be biased, but I do think ours is one of the better ones...there were some really good semi-finalists that we were shocked didn't make the top 10.
