I've got a 2008 Mercedss C230 W204 that's no longer under warranty. Seeking an Independant Mercedes Shop to do a Service B1 I have coming up. Looking to save some money over the dealerships.

"B" Service (and "A" service) are really just synthetic oil changes, rotate tires, lubricate hinges plus a lot of "checks" (battery, windshield wipers, axles etc) Google Mercedes A and B service click the MbWorld link.

Realistically any shop will be able to do those for you, and it's up to you to see if rotating tires etc are really necessary. Any one of the RS sponsors would be able to help you out I'm sure.

What did Mercedes quote you? $350-400? Awfully expensive for a bunch of checks.

I've been going to the same mechanic in Richmond for 5+ years and bring my moms c230 there.

If you want his number let me know its a small shop behind Bashirs car wash. No referral money.
