Didn't want to start a new thread...so this one prob fit best.

Tips on how to dispute a write-off amount?
Got the adjuster's email.
Do I just send them a bunch of Craig links with similar year/mileage?
Do people still use other website like Kijii?

What else do you include?

any maintenance logs or receipts you may have. some ads that are like model, year, condition and mileage as your car. if it's a higher than base trim level make sure that's what you're looking for. send those all to your adjuster with the price that you want

though i do have to say, icbc is usually pretty good on their settlement payouts on writeoffs. a lot of the time my customers tell me that they were going to sell their car anyway and icbc gave them offers above what they wanted to sell for. of course this won't always be the case though

find all your invoices and any recent aftermarket modifications with receipts.

i got the icbc fax number from the total loss handler and faxed them 18 pages worth of invoices and service records. the total loss handler called me back few hours later and gave me her value willing to pay. It was far above the book value of the car so I gladly accepted.

you do not need to send them craig links of mileage. ICBC or any insurance office has their own database for knowing the book value.
