I loved thunder crunch when I was a kid. Either cheddar or jalapeno. Only Mrs Vickie's comes close but dem chips fried in peanut oil.

Chips are so my kryptonite. I like Ruffles Bacon and Sour Cream and Salt & Vinegar brand is almost irrelevant, I'll eat almost any flavor really. I do have a thing with freshness though, if a bag is open more then 2 days it's going in the trash even if it's closed up with a chip clip. My wife say's I'm an idiot I say don't judge me. Same with bread, if it isn't fresh it's going in the garbage.

Thundercrunch lovers should try the Jalapeno flavor from Hard Bite. Local company but it may be hard to find. I bought mine at Buy Low foods.

Anyone else buy Hickory Sticks in vending machines with the belief that you get more for the money compared to proper chips? I get that feeling when I eat them...

Shoppers drug mart always puts doritos, lays or ruffles chips on sale for $1.99.
I usually just bring the flyer in with me to Walmart and get them to price match it when I am craving chips.
Lays has a decent flavour in their kettle cooked jalapeno cheddar.
