My favorite tv shows growing up were probably Hunter and Coach, probably because I was a huge NFL fan right from the get go and former NFL star Fred Dryer was the lead actor in Hunter and Coach was about NCAA football coach.
other than those, Married with Children, Fresh Prince and Cheers where shows I always made sure to watch, and Frasier and Seinfeld in my teen years.

The only thing I ever watched with my dad was HNIC circa early 60's. We were both Maple Leafs fans and the Nuckleheads were not even around.
Asian father/son relationship at its best.
I broke tradition when I watched DragonballZ and Reboot with the kids when they were growin' up.
