NWA Movie coming this summer. Kind of cool Ice Cube being portrayed by his kid.

N.W.A. was church for me. Anything Ruthless Records really(anyone remember Tarrie B?). I am beyond excited for this.

I just happened to find my NWA greatest hits cd in the truck last night. Sure, I went from a pair of 15" subs in a ported box in 1994, to a set of sealed box 10" thumpers, but the bass still sounded good.

I'm pretty excited for this.

Got my Raiders throwback "starter" jacket ready to go. Can't wait.

No One Can Do It Better was an amazing album and we all thought he would be the next big thing. Tragedy stuck and that led us to his Helter Skelter album. Raspy voice indeed but the magic was lost. There was one banger song on there but that's it. By that time Tha Dogg Pound, Death Row, etc were making moves so he just faded away.

DOC put out a great album, Helter Skelter, after the accident. He was a lyrically a step above most "gangsta rappers"

I too, cannot wait to watch this movie.

6 months ago Dre said Detox was scrapped

I heard it was being released still but it's not called Detox anymore. Either way who the fuck knows, it's been delayed so long there's no way it'll ever live up to the hype

ugh, SO killer!! Paul Giamatti as Jerry Heller is an awesome casting.

One week today and I can't fricken wait

After watching that preview I think I may spontaneously combust in the theatre. Ha! That era had a massive impact on me and reminiscing gave me goosebumps.

Same with me, I'm going next Friday and can't fricken wait

man that movie is going to nothing short of epic. i was also getting goosebumps just watching that trailer.
