People question how so many Germans colluded with the Nazi regime and were so hateful towards Jews... but we see that today if we're to merely replace the word Muslim for Jew in the following articles comments, this kind of brainwashing and ignorance is firmly set in our society as well. Only one really tried to put the rest to shame... I also replaced her words too.

I agree they should get their money back. But we don't need these people here. Most Canadians are sick and tired of having to put up with all the problems that come with these Jews. No more Jews. Also sick and tired of all these sympathizers as well. If you want these troubled people here, then you support them when they start popping out kids and stress our social safety net. There are literally millions of Catholic Filipinos who would gladly come here and intregate into Canada. They speak English work hard and I have never met one I didn't like. I know cause I am planning to retire in the Phillipines where I can live like a king on around 800.00 Canadian a month. And you and I both know that's lots of Filipinos do just that. I can't believe that my own country would be guilty of something so vile. Yes, the amount is nonrefundable, but human decency would say let them stay, or give them their money back! Canadians harp about being multicultural, but looking at some of the other comments on this page, the contrary seems to ring true. I know some really great Jew people over here in Fiji. I can't believe that these comments are being put out by fellow countrymen. If you are truly racist against Jew peoples, then I pity you. I pity you for giving way to propaganda, and for not giving other human beings a chance to show you what great people they truly are. For the record, I am neither christian nor Jew, I am an atheist.

No matter what happens there will always be a cultural divide simply because people are different. No amount of education will solve this for anyone.
More people understand now than they used to, but that will not cause them to like the different people.

I can (on some points) agree with people that Canada needs to stop being an open door to immigration at the degradation of our own cultural values. Much the same way that if I were to move to another country that did not speak my language or share my values I would not try to change them. I moved there, I choose to leave what I was comfortable with and now must grow to fit in and get along with what they do.

Sensitive subject for sure but also one that has existed since the beginning of time.

Cant speak to that as I have no personal issues with any race of people. I take each and every person as an individual and not a representation of there entire ethnicity.

BUT the simple answer is that they are different. Many people do not like change, do not like things to be different. They get used to the way things are and like them that way. When you introduce another group of people who have different ideas and views on how life should be you will inevitable have a clash of ideas and ideals. How you/they choose to deal with these difference is the problem.

I agree in that our race and its different branches of ethnicity, mix as a country is not ideal. This is mainly because our appearances will set us apart if disaster strikes!

But what I dont like seeing is how easily people laugh off religion as some guy in the sky and are indifferent to the over a billion Muslim followers.
Shadow rulers have made all the three main religions look backwards when in reality religion has been about laws and moral guidance.

If there was a Christian and religious studies class in our schools today, we wouldnt have so many materialistic, gun hoe, yolo sheeple in our world. This would influence how we treat our family, relationships, and justice as one kind of collective thinking to bring about real freedoms.

This anti religion brainwashing (and acts like ISIS, pedophile priests, Israel etc), is not only taking us away from this unity, but also used against us to divide us.

I can not speak about anything but Christianity, but I would agree. The ideas behind it are to educate and instruct people how to live a wholesome and good life. Don't kill, don't cheat don't lie. Show others love, even those that do not show it to you.
Simply taking the teachings of Christianity, removing the religious undertones and teaching that is what most parents do with there children.

My issues with religion are when it comes to the killing of others because they are non-believers or because it says to do so in some way.

IMO a more "relatable" argument would be the large influx of wealthy Chinese immigrants to the Lower Mainland, rather than Muslims.

Whether it is factual or not, many people use the wealthy Chinese as a scapegoat for why housing prices are so high and why Vancouver is becoming increasingly less and less liveable (for those making middle-class incomes) each year. As well as less evident things like "brain drain" and the fact that many young people are moving away to seek a better life. Lots of people attribute this influx to how Vancouver is slowly becoming a playground for the rich rather than city liveable for the middle class. It is evident that there are parallels between how middle-class Germans viewed Jews before WWII; that is, they were usually quite wealthy and controlled the majority of finance while everyone else was drowning in inflation and using wheelbarrows of Reichmarks to buy a loaf of bread. So needless to say that this envy led to jealousy, and this jealousy led to outright hate (whether you believe it righteous or not).

I was speaking to an RCMP "recruiter" the other day, and asking him as to how good my chances are of coming back to the Lower Mainland after Depot... he basically said that the Lower Mainland was actually not a desirable place to work for people who didn't already have family here, because RCMP salary doesn't go as far here as it does in pretty much anywhere else in Canada. Which reinforces my belief that the Lower Mainland is not livable unless your combined household income is over $150k a year, which is not realistic given the average Canadian incomes. (Obviously if your parents are kind enough to help with your first home, this is less of an issue)
