My Honda S2000 Paint Correction

Finally detailed my car over the weekend.

Products used:
Chemical Guys Mr.Pink shampoo
Chemical Guys Black Heavy clay bar
Meguiar's Ultimate Compound / B&S Yellow Euro Foam pad on PC 7424xp
Meguiar's Ultimate Polish / B&S Blue Foam pad on PC 7424xp
Collinite 845 / CG Black Finishing pad on PC 7424xp
303 Aerospace protectant

Paint was swirled and scratched pretty badly, I wasn't able to achieve 100% correction unless I went with something more aggressive but either way, it looks a lot better than before.

Total time spent was around 20 hours spanned over 3 days.

Picked up quite a bit of contaminants, but obviously the black coloured clay doesn't show this well.

Revealing the true condition of the paint.

Trims and emblems taped off, ready for some paint correction.

50/50 after compounding.

Before:

After some compounding:

After some polishing.

All done and sealed.

Some pics in the sun.

Soft top dressed with 303 Aerospace protectant.

No more swirls.
