4x 205/50R15 Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 - Ultra High Performance Summer Tires *sold*

FS: 4x 205/50R15 Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31
Fits Rims: 15 x 5.5 - 6"
Tread: ~50%
$sold! obo (for all 4).

--> ECSTA SPT KU31 - Kumho Tire Canada, Inc.

The Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 is an Ultra High Performance Summer Tire:
--> 1010TIRES.COM® - KUMHO ECSTA SPT (KU31)

(Tread depth of ~5.5 out of 10.5/32" when new)

This was a fantastic summer tire for me. When it was new the grip was awesome in both wet and dry conditions alike. When I changed over from winter back to these summer tires, I realized how much I missed these tires in the winter. Over the kms it's lost some of that grip from when it was new, but I still think it's a pretty decent summer tire currently. It's very predictable in all driving conditions with minor hydroplaning on entry of large puddles while going very fast. So hydroplaning wasn't really that scary.

It came off a Mazda Protege (not the stock size, which was 195/55R15) but is a fairly popular size in the remaining 15" cars on the road including Acura Integras, (older) Honda Civics, Hyundai Elantras, Mazda Miatas, Mazda Proteges, Subaru Imprezzas, Toyota MR2s, and (older) VW Golfs/Jettas/Passats).

There's still some decent usable life left and you should probably be pretty happy with this tire. It certainly looks like there's a few more years left on this tire depending on how much you drive.

It seems like this tire is harder to find now and at least this size isn't even sold anymore.

For comparison, the cheapest price for this tire (in the smallest size) is $133.95 at TireTrends.ca:

(before shipping and taxes)

So, brand new (if you round down to $130 to accommodate the price/size difference), would probably be $520 just on the list cost of the tires.

PM an offer if interested. Any reasonable offer is accepted (or if there are no other offers then any unreasonable one will be accepted as well). Just make sure to state the offer so I can prioritize getting back to you (e.g. higher price first, then in chronological order).
