Subwoofer Recommendation?

Hi folks, I'm looking for any recommendations you might have regarding what would be a good subwoofer match for my current setup.

I've pieced together the following: 2 Wharfedale Diamond 10.7 fronts, Diamond 9.CS center, and 4 Diamond 9.1 sides/rear. I also have 2 Diamond 1.DFS surrounds that I might put in.

The room is about 20" x 20"

I wouldn't mind matching it with a Wharfedale Diamond series sub, but I can't find them anywhere locally, so I was hoping to see what else would match?

I'm not huge into bass, but I'd like a well rounded system. Don't have a specific price point in mind, maybe sub-1000, just looking for best value for the money.

Thanks in advance!

4 companies to look at: SVS Audio hsu research Reaction Audio Power Sound Audio

If you can DIY you will get way more bang for the buck and it's not that hard.

This box can be put together with tape and glue. stonehenge

Use this driver: ht18 subwoofer

Always get more than you need because you can always turn it down. I run a 21 inch sub I built and 2 18 inch Yamaha PA subs with over 4000 watts RMS going to them.

i would add Creative Sound Solutions - Loudspeakers, Parts and DIY Speaker Kits to the list of places to check out for DIY

went through them back in 2008, and the quality is stellar

they're local (abby) and great customer service, I'm not sure if Robert (Bob) is still running things though, I imagine/hope he is

Thanks very much for the suggestions guys, I'll look into the DIY avenue, appreciate it!

Any recommendations for brands/models outside of the DIY variety?

my parents have had the 5.0 SVS system for about 6-7 years now, great system and still works/sounds great to this day, so +1 for SVS
