Need for Speed reboot

Pretty much Need for Speed Underground 3

Need for Speed Reboot Revealed - IGN

I'm expecting them to fuck this up but i'm half-hoping they can capture some of the magic that was in NFSU and NFSU2

NFSU was sick, I felt they lost a bit of what made NFSU great in NFSU2, but it was still decent. After that, meh. I hope they get rid of the rubber-band catchup shit, though.

Obviously EA is going to fuck it up. It's EA.

What I'd really love is if they re-made Porsche Unleashed. Easily the best game in the NFS series, IMO.

Most Wanted (PS2) was the last good one for me
But yeah NFSU > MW > NFSU2
That M3 in MW

i rmbr thinking the graphics was so real and adding roof scoops, mongoose cf hoods, underbody neons and lambo doors to all the cars in NFSU and 2

inb4 the newest reboot gives you the option to "Tron" your car

I remember High Stakes. You started with that really shitty Z3 or SLK, what an infuriating car. Eventually you'd get like a jaguar, then I'd just open the cheats and buy a CLK GTR.

Porsche Unleashed was an unreal game, so ahead of its time it's not even funny. The calendar, appreciating cars, etc.

I liked both NFS underground 1 and 2, as well as most wanted. Carbon is where it really started to go downhill.

I want it to be good, because the first 2 were a lot of fun, but it's EA so they'll fuck it up and ruin it with paid DLC.

now that you mention it, PU was pretty advanced but i was in my early teens and didn't really appreciate the details besides "holy shit the graphics are amazing! Awwwyeeee Porsche!"

i bought Carbon for like $5 played an hour and haven't touched it since. I tried playing the games afterwards but same thing, i couldn't play for more than an hour...shit was beyond stupid.

Might as well revamp Burnout too...that was game was the shit lol
I must've spent a full year of my life just playing Burnout 3.

I'm holding my breath. After the shenanigans with EA and Simcity I've sworn off anything that EA's ugly ass has touched. Unless this somehow turns out really well (which I really doubt), I'm not getting excited for anything

The quality of the graphics looks to be the only appealing part of this. Then again, it's EA, so being incredibly cheesy and full of fanboy garbage like RB is to be expected.
