Wow, almost $800?
Maybe I should start one of these to fund repairs on my BMW. I'm sure other fellow owners would sympathize with the expense of keeping a 15 year old 7 series on the road.

you can actually repaint to a different colour from ICBC?? ?_? I never knew that.
But all in seriousness, i can feel what he's feeling but at the same time, it's kind of a douche move to be asking for money for a car, when he himself has the means to repair it. TE37 + some lip that worth over 2G just this month.
There are better things to donate, but not to someone else's joyride.
Maybe he should of have just kept the donation low profile just his circle of friends, making it public feels like an insult to me.
I hope he fixes his car soon.

this really pissed me off last night to today thinking about brandon.
there are so many different ways of getting money like:
-line of credit or overdraft (i hope he didnt do this to buy his next mod)
-maybe his cousins or other family can chip in like few hundred dollars or so
-sell your small assets
This reminds me of the transit plebisite when gregor robertson said "there is no plan B".
i know i sound like its easier said than done, but with some thought, you CAN make this work yourself.
brandon needs to wake up! even though i myself like to mod my car, i still need to eat and have a roof over my head. i just started investing in a property and im in my early 20s. DO YOU KNOW HOW BROKE I AM?!?
Once he pays his deductible, modding starts again...modding paycheck to paycheck...asking for money.
