It's because so many women were on board with the "I BELIEVE THE ACCUSER" that they were pissed that Kane wasn't charged...and that they were pretty much wrong the whole time.
So I'm not surprised that someone's trying to pin another one on him. They just didn't do enough research (or know about the minutia of hockey travel...) to make it airtight.
Seriously what kind of bullshit is this that people just straight up believe the accusers without evidence? I get that rape so often goes unreported but c'mon...are you saying we need to change "innocent until proven guilty" to "innocent until proven guild unless it's a man accused of raping a women in which case HE'S GUILTY WITHOUT TRIAL OR DUE PROCESS BECAUSE FEMINISM"

I personally hate the bullshit media coverage. It's almost always pure speculation with little-to-no evidence.
Especially since the athletes or celebrities are usually villified and seen as guilty once the allegation even comes out. It doesn't matter if the accuser is credible or not, once it's out there, you'll have idiots just slamming them
no canadian teams in the top half of the league edmonton, calgary, toronto, winnipeg all trying to outsuck eachother as 4 of the 6 worst teams
if the canucks had won only half of the OT games they lost, they would be at the league average of 5 OT losses and they would be in the top 7 in the league. those 11 OT points lost are enormous. not bad for a team that is 'tanking' and 'rebuilding'
i keep saying it, but i dont think the canucks actually suck as bad as they look. the league has a handfull of very good teams, a handfull of exceptionally bad teams, and 20 teams that are real close to eachother. if you remove the 5 best and 5 worst teams, there's only 10 points separating the 20 teams in the middle. after 45 games thats pretty damn close. and mix that with things like washington coming out of nowhere to be the league leader, and teams like anaheim struggling, and it makes for interesting standings.

Thumbs up to Ovie for using his Mercedes G class SUV ( he calls it his snow car Lol) to help his family and his neighbours remove snow from their driveways.
It is rare to see a professional athlete spend time and money to help neighbours especially in a gigantic snowstorm in the eastern U.S.
