i guess same thing kinda happened to kenins like what happened with coraddo....wasnt kenins injured last year during utica's playoff run which pretty much fucked his off season schedule...i would give him another shot...also dont get why he would try and move him since utica needs players too..
Lol hes a right handed dman
Decent points in the KHL.
He'll probably get a look next year if he even decides to come over

Remember when this team was infatuated with getting "bigger"
blows my mind how the Bruins mentally fucked up every Canuck player after the series (no one really played the same/regressed pretty much) and literally has fucked up the franchise with an ex-assistant GM in Benning who is now the current GM
good speed, and has offensive touch
didn't look great in Edmonton, but no defenseman does
has connection to gultz and willie from time in dallas organization
obviously a gradin connection here too
think its worth a gamble. rather have a dman who can step in that's better than weber, bartkowski, biega at the price of a 5th.
future is nice but too many late round d prospects in ahl/juniors with contracts or contracts coming, 7 or so I think. wouldn't bother wasting many picks on future dmen unless in the first 2-3 rounds, with higher upside
I'm surprised Ohlie hasn't retired yet. It's been like 5 years since he's played + his knees and eyes are so fucked. I thought when he got hurt it was definitely a sign to retire. But I miss him still
He should be hanging it up at the end of the season when his contract expires. A player retiring before their contract expires will incur cap penalties; especially with less term remaining. It's to prevent teams from signing guys long term to spread out the annual cap hit and not have them play out the full length of the deal. If a team was needing to meet the cap floor I'm certain Ohlund would've been dealt already. Similar to what we saw happen to Pronger/Arizona and Savard/Florida.
Sucks for the Lightning because they can't buy him out since he is on the LTIR.
