true but stranger things have happened.

a lot of hockey pundits had Drouin winning the Calder last season

Who would've thought Ekblad, Gaudreau and Stone would be the finalists

8 x $6.875M for Seabrook. Probably 2-3 years too long, but not bad for the first half for sure.

I thought the phil kessel over 78 points was a good bet for 2.00x payout. Too bad only 100 dollars max bet. Still took it.

I'm pretty damn impressed with the play of Hutton actually. Makes bartowski signing irrelevant.

He's a homeless Alesso.

Another player that's been virtually guaranteed a roster spot (and top 6 no less) who's been totally invisible in every game he's played is Baertschi..... Hope he picks it up right quick when the season gets going and I hate the fact he's basically given his spot (one way contract)... sigh

At the game last night one big thing you really notice is the speed of guys like gaunce/hutton/McCann and even Bart. When they were on and I saw a shift from the sedins with burrows, it was such a night and day difference. Didn't think cracknell had a good game, not sure what his situation is like with the main roster, can't think of the top of my head right now. I loved watching Hutton and Bart go up on rushes , but Hutton's speed was much more impressive. Quite excited for our prospects coming up

Cracknell is one of a few considered for the 13th forward role.

Personally, I'd rather a 4th line of Kenins-Prust-Dorsett than Prust-Vey-Dorsett. Prust played C for Calgary and Phoenix years ago and his faceoff % over the past 3 seasons is around 50%.
