Facebook's trending column continues to dumb down the world and promote celebrity culture. That same culture does not encourage free thought or free speech as it merely lays out the rules for the sheep of this world to play in.


Funny how Facebook and western culture in general is so anti-bullying, yet will cheerlead on J.K. Rowlings in calling this man an "idiot" for merely voicing his opinion that Serena Williams has the physique of a well-built male body.

Yep she is built like a man, its not surprising that she keeps winning, does the world of tennis not have rules on testosterone levels or muscularity as other sporting bodies do? If you recall, even recently, women have been banned from certain sports due to their natural hormone levels

I firmly believe that in today's world, nearly every single competitor is using some sort of performance enhancing drugs, and those who aren't are simply not winning.

serena is also heavily rumored/suspected to be a juicer, and has had medical issues suggesting juicing problems
she's also locked herself up in a panic room and called the police about an intruder when some tennis organizations rep went to her home for a urine sample

Surely they have anti doping measures in tennis?

I read something about how other female players took the stance of being flexible over "big" and how against someone of the build of Serena, that this just doesn't work - I would expect a bigger focus on more powerfully built female tennis players in the future

Yes, she's not ur avg feminine figured lady, but she is a great tennis player and has evidently given so much of her life to her sport.

I would think so too, especially after the news report of her calling the police on a tennis associations doping tester ;) from what ive read from those speculating, it's said to be a case like Lance Armstrong, where the star is too big and too good for the sport that there is a lax attitude and there are games played to keep it from coming to light

but she certainly is huge, at least when it's game time

Almost Everyone in pro sports dopes. There are constantly evolving ways to get around it, and it's a constant battle between the testers and the athletes. Some leagues are better at catching people, so it's less prevalent.

Serena Williams is just a big girl. You don't just take steroids and get big arms like she has.

Despite what feminists will tell you, sexual dimorphism exists. In the case of the human species, the male gender on average has a greater muscle mass, strenght, endurance, etc. To say a female has the attributes of a man is in the context of a physcial activity like tennis, is a compliment to her genetics, dedication, and training. Why can't we call a spade as spade anymore?
