Flickering LED Light Fixtures

So I took the plunge and started upgrading the light fixtures in my house with LED units, however I've come up against an issue. A few rooms have dimmers installed and the first one I installed the new fixture started flickering. The dimmer is a Levitron unit designed for LED/CFL (Leviton - Decora | Decora SureSlide Universal Dimmer with Preset Switch for for Dimmable LED, CFL and Incandescent Lamps, in White | Home Depot Canada) and the fixture itself is also designed to be dimmed (Commercial Electric | 11 Inch Brushed Nickel LED Ceiling Light with Frosted Glass | Home Depot Canada). It's less noticeable when it's at about halfway, but at full power it's quite annoying.

Doing some reading online indicates a resistor might be useful, but I was also under the impression that one isn't necessary when using units designed for one another.

Thoughts? I don't want to install anymore if I'm going to come across this issue with the rest of the rooms.

I've used that same dimmer with a dimmable LED fixture (similar to this one: Hampton Bay | 3 Light Semi-Flushmount Track Bar Fixture Matte White Finish Etched Glass Shades | Home Depot Canada), it all works fine together.

My first thought would be that you might have wired something wrong - some dimmers, especially LED/CFL compatible ones, it DOES matter which lead is source and which goes to the light.

I actually pulled the fixture down and reseated the ground wire. Seems to work much better now.

All the wires are done correctly. I don't feel like using the fire portion of my insurance on my house. Car, whatever. House... no.
