| ZENBANX Exchange CAD to USD @ $1:$1
ZenBanx is doing exchange USD @ par promotion again for Civic holiday (August 3).
Make sure open an account at least 3 business days BEFORE Aug 3rd. It sometimes takes more than couple of days to process cheque deposit or verifying linked account.
If you open an account with a referral code you and whoever referred you will also get $10. Details: Par
The ZenBanx dollar for dollar, single transaction offer is open to existing customers and new customers who start the ZenBanx onboarding process by August 3.
1-Customer must have a ZenBanx account in good standing and have started their application by August 3.
2-Customer can exchange up to $250 Canadian into $250 U.S. in a single or one time only transaction on August 3.
3-The transfer will take place at our posted (not promotional) exchange rate and not the 1:1 exchange rate. A message within the app will indicate the exchange difference will be credited to the account the next business day in their U.S. position.
4-Should your account set-up be delayed for circumstances beyond your control, ZenBanx will still honour this promotion until August 17.

creator of this bank started ING or something etc etc.
theyve done the exchange before as well.

They did the same par exchange on Canada day. It's an online only bank and the money is insured by DICO.
Q: Is this bank legit? I never heard of them before.
A: ZenBanx was started by innovators including Arkadi Kuhlmann - the same guy who bought ING Direct (Tangerine) to Canada. ZenBanx is a subsidy of DUCA - DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd.

I still don't get this as no atm in Canada will let you take out the usd unless you drive all the way down there to use a random atm

you'd be using USD in USA... and therefore be in the USA when you need it haha..

I called Zenbanx and they told me that they're slow because of everyone signing up but we have until August 17th to do the 1:1 exchange to USD as long as you opened your account and made the $250 deposit on August 3 or earlier.

If you just entered banking info, you'll need to send them a 2nd piece of ID (credit card, bank statement, blank cheque).
It took awhile to get a reply email but they said they are EXTREMELY busy due to the promo.
I sent in a bank statement yesterday and was just fully verified today. Added funds today. Just waiting to exchange now
